COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Our organization is unique in our mission and approach to help end the problem of inter-generational poverty that plaques portions of our local communities.
While NMRC strives to serve the highest risk, highest need citizens of our service area, NMRC is inclusive of all our community members and we will attempt to provide our services to all those in need or who want to participate in our programs. Some of our programs are restricted to a certain age demographic, so make sure to reach out to us for any questions or program guidelines.
NMRC is a Nebraska incorporated non-profit committed to serving low-income individuals and families in our community. We adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and accountability in all our programs and activities.
Established and incorporated in 2016 NMRC has been in continuous operation since and we have formed solid partnerships as sub-recipients for contracts and grants from the NE DHHS, Snow Redfern foundation, Santa Fe Natural Tobacco, Sherwood Foundation, Nebraska Commission on Indian affairs and The National Congress of American Indians.
At NMRC, we believe in a community support approach to addressing the needs of our local citizens. We strive to understand the unique challenges and opportunities faced by our local Populations, and tailor our support to ensure meaningful and impactful assistance. NMRC has developed strong local partnerships with the Panhandle Public Health District, North Central District Health District, Region 1 and 4 Behavioural Health Authority, City of Gordon, Western Community Health Resources, Gordon Hospital and local School Districts.
