About the Event

Individual and collective practices have  been developed by the Lakota community to address youth suicide. In this session, we will identify these practices both individual and collective and explore different avenues to train more people in their usage. In this session we will also use the paradigm of the "spectrum of suicide" to identify the wide range of tactics use at every point of the spectrum, from education, to prevention, to intervention, to treatment and after care.
