Writer's picture: Arthur HarveyArthur Harvey

Join us for our online Zoom event! April 12th from 6:00pm MST to &:00pm MST.

Traditional healers in the Lakota community are legendary for their skill to connect with community members and help them restore their connection to the community and the natural world. This power known traditionally as "Šá (Shah)" follows a set of principles that we will highlight in this session. These principles of rapport have to do with: Space, Structure, Story, Stimulation and Stress Reduction. The bond established in this rapport increases wellbeing in community members and often serves as a preventative factor for youth suicide. Click on the image below or link above to RSVP!
